Island Marine Construction Services Ltd. was incorporated in 1995. Ross Walker brought with him over 20 years of experience in the marine industry and recruited a team of skilled, hard-working employees who bring a myriad of experience to high-quality dock building. This is a team that is innovative, solution-oriented and dedicated to creating great docks.
Stephen Carter, Operations Manager, brings his finishing carpenter’s eye for detail and perfection to designing and guiding the construction of docks that are pleasing to the eye and built to last.
Dave McKerrell, Permits and Foreshore Applications Manager, not only wades through the mire of red tape required to secure all the paperwork necessary to put a dock in place, but is Island Marine’s CAD designer, computer guru, and all-around knowledge bank.
Corey Johnson, Construction Manager, grew up on Salt Spring Island before leaving to pursue a career in construction. His experience in commercial and industrial construction brings extensive experience in large-scale infrastructure projects, commercial developments, and recreation facilities, working onsite, as well as behind the scenes in projecting estimating and management. Corey joined the IMC team in 2012, and has been a partner since 2013.
